Short Resume:

I work as a professional leadership consultant and coach to both public and private sectors on issues surrounding change and transition. I have been working in the area of Human Resources and Organization Development since 1978. In addition, I have diverse industry experience in large organizational settings. I hold a BA in Sociology and an MBA.

Early in my career, I was a Production Line Manager for Canada’s largest telecommunications provider and an Assistant Bank Manager in Toronto for the third largest bank in Canada. I was a Human Resource Manager in a high tech firm before forming my own company in 1990. I continue to work on the leading edge of leadership, management assessment and team building and speak regularly on these subjects. I have lectured at universities and colleges across Canada and delivered training on more than a dozen topics relating to leadership, team and professional development and has taught over 5,000 classroom hours. The diversity of organizations and venues where I have been a presenter include:

  • International Facilitators Association Conference (Edinburgh, Scotland 2007)

While I considers myself unilingual, for the past twenty years, I often conduct sessions that are simultaneously provided in two languages: French and English. I completed her Teaching Certificate from McGill University and holds her Masters of Business Administration from the Ivy School of Business.

A number of my articles have been published and I wrote “Understanding Assessments”, Section Four in The Strategic Project Leader: Mastering Service-Based Project Leadership by Jack Ferraro (New York, Auerbach Publications 2007) ISBN-13: 978-0849387944

I am one of 600 Master Certified Coaches (International Coaching Federation) worldwide which repreents less than 1% of all professional coaches.  As well as I am a Certified Teleclass Leader with Corporate Coach University. I am a licensed practitioner of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Future Search Conferences as well as numerous other process change tools. I have been selected as a coach for The Best of Organizational Development Summit in Chicago, 2005-2006 (http://www.linkageinc.com/) as well as the WIN Conference in Geneva, 2005 (http://www.winconference.net).

At the start of 2003, I began my Assessments Now online business aimed specifically as a resource for coaches regarding the use of assessment assessments in the coaching industry.  I have developed a world-wide network of 40 qualified coaches and trainers and over 100 associates.  To continue to add value to the coaching profession,  I brought online the blog: Assessments Today.  Here, guest authors discuss critique and debug the myths about assessments, instruments and profiles.

In the fall of 2005, I relocated from Ottawa, Canada to Geneva, Switzerland where I continue coaching and consulting as a senior associate with 1-FOCUS International. 1-Focus International uses propitiatory holistic transformation process that focuses on organizational strengths and competitive advantages. By applying the 7-steps process we enable organizations to become profitable and individuals to reach their full potential. 1-Focus specializes in Mergers and Acquisition cultural transitions across countries. My role is to head up the “Collective Leadership in The Global Context Program” which focuses on the High Potential Teams of Organizational Change. We offer coaching, leadership workshops, rapid, collaborative, organizational change and a track record of interesting, effective successes.
